Day 1 Arrival in the Versilia/Livorno region for an overnight stay and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the harbour for the Livorno – Bastia day-time ferry. Departure at about 8:15, arrival in Bastia at about 12:15, and transfer to a hotel in Porto Ajaccio for the night and for dinner.

Day 3 After breakfast, full-day excursion to Porto – Les Calanques. A day to discover the amazing rocky granite landscape of Les Calanques, whose sculptures take on orange or red nuances depending on the time of day. We end the day with a tour of the bathing resort town “Porto,” whose bay is listed among UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Porto is still guarded by an old Genovese tower that crowns the evening sunsets over the pink sea. Return to hotel and dinner.

Day 4 After breakfast, full-day excursion to Ajaccio Bonifacio. The town of Ajaccio is located in the heart of one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world. Near the old harbour, you’ll find lively markets and narrow old town streets lined with aristocratic residences. Everywhere in Ajaccio, street names and monuments commemorate Napoleon Bonaparte, who was born in a house in Rue Saint Charles on 15 August 1769. We continue to Bonifacio, one of the most visited towns in Corsica, picturesquely situated on imposing wave-beaten chalk cliffs. The visit to the “Ville Haute” with a view of the 12 m distant coast of Sardinia is an unforgettable experience. After the visit, we take the ferry from Bonifacio to Santa Teresa (Sardinia), transfer to a hotel in Santa Teresa-Baja Sardinia-Olbia, and dinner.

Day 5 After breakfast, a full-day excursion to Castelsardo, Alghero. Past Sassari you reach Alghero, the “L’Alguer” of the Catalans, where traces of Catalan rule still live on in the language and traditions. The surrounding countryside has interesting archaeological remains of the most ancient history of Sardinia. Castelsardo lies on the northern coast. A stroll through the narrow, steep alleys of this once-fortified village rewards visitors with ever more spectacular views. A few kilometres from Castelsardo, a bizarre rock formation arises from the landscape: the well-known elephant. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 6 After breakfast, full-day excursion to Maddalena Costa Smeralda. The trip gives visitors a chance to experience the sophisticated atmosphere of Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo, the refined jet-set capitals of the coast, but also to discover untouched parts of the rough coastal cliffs. In the afternoon, ferry to the island La Maddalena, the only inhabited island of the archipelago. Our path leads from the lovely coastal promenade to the alleys and squares of the old town. In the evening, night ferry Olbia – Livorno with accommodation in double room cabins.

Day 7 After breakfast on board, arrival in Livorno and journey home.
