Followed by a delicious tasting of the famous Parma ham. Accommodation in Parma/Reggio Emilia region, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 – Bologna – Modena Breakfast. Visit to Bologna with its arcades and towers, its splendid palaces and churches. Continue to Modena. A few metres apart, three incomparable “beauties” stand side by side: Piazza Grande, the Cathedral and the Ghirlandina Tower. Since 1997, this architectural complex has been declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. It is also a gourmet metropolis; its balsamic vinegar, which you will taste today, is world famous. Return to the hotel. Dinner based on traditional dishes and overnight stay.

Day 4 – Busseto – Cremona After breakfast, drive to Busseto, where the great composer and theatre artist Giuseppe Verdi lived. In the afternoon, you will reach Cremona, famous not only as a city of violins and music but also for its delicacies such as the sweet “Torrone” whose origins according to legend can be traced back to the wedding of Francesco Sforza with Bianca Maria Visconti in 1441. Continue to Mantova and hotel accommodation in the area. Dinner and overnight stay.

Piazza Bra with its magnificent Roman amphitheatre, one of the largest in Italy, is connected to the old town by the lively Via Mazzini. Then continue to Sirmione, the pearl of Lake Garda. Hotel accommodation in Verona. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 – Padova – Bassano del Grappa Breakfast. Visit to Padua. It was a settlement from pre-Roman times and still preserves numerous and intact signs of its important past.
