Lake Iseo is a small jewel shared between Bergamo and Brescia provinces; it is the smallest of the alpine lakes and with the variety of its natural landscapes makes it one of the most fascinating and romantic ones in Italy. Montisola, the largest lake island in Europe, is at its centre. This green beauty is covered with scattered little neighbourhoods and stand alone, aristocratic villas. Thanks also to its vicinity to Northern Europe, three days are enough to get a complete full view of this area and enjoy all it has to offer. And to really get to know the local flavours, we can’t miss stopping at a traditional valley restaurant to sample the famous Franciacorta wine.

Day 1 Arrival and check in to a Lake Iseo/Brescia area hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 Tour Brescia, a fascinating city and among the most elegant in Northern Italy. In the afternoon, a scenic tour to Lake Iseo, with a visit to Montisola, the largest lake island in Europe. Spend an enjoyable evening in a restaurant near the hotel.

Day 3 A day dedicated to touring Bergamo – one of the northern Italy’s most important cities – and Franciacorta, famous for its vineyards – where some of the most Europe’s most well-known sparkling wines are from. Lunch in a traditional restaurant with a sampling of local wines and products, not to be missed. In the late afternoon, return to hotel, and dinner.

Day 4 After breakfast, departure.
