With ist 4 km long city walls Lucca boasts a true unspoiled artistic and historical heritage of Tuscany. The narrow streets, the countless churches, the ancient towers, the green gardens and the typical shops in the historic centre give a charming touch to this town.

The province of Lucca includes villages such as Garfagnana with its spectacular valleys, the Park of the Apuan Alps and villages encircled by walls, up to Versila with Torre del Lago and the places of Giacomo Puccini. The villas surrounding the town invite visitors to stroll through the natural and historical scenery.

The Renaissance walls, some of the longest and best preserved city walls in Italy, and the historic centre open to pedestrians and cyclists, make Lucca an ideal town for fun tours and bicycle excursions (ask for options!).
