Hills, valleys, lakes and a great river that softens the countryside further south to leave space for the cultivation of fruit that is famous throughout the world. We are talking about the Trentino Alto Adige region. With a short tour, we will aim to show you the peculiarities of this splendid area: from the Val di Non to the Valle dei Laghi, to the symbolic cities of Sudtirol, Merano and Bolzano. Of course you will not miss: the visit to the exceedingly famous Obstbetrieb in Val di Non; the gardens of Castello di Trauttmansdorff and an unforgettable stop with a tasting of the highly prized Vin Santo on the terrace of Castello del Toblino.

Day 1 Arrival and check-in for 5 nights HB.

Day 2 Full day guided visit of Bolzano and Wine Route Kaltern. After breakfast you will visit the beautiful city of Bozen, the main city of Alto Adige plenty of cultre, art and green areas. In the afternoon the tour continues to the wonderful wine route of Kaltern, where you can taste the wines of the territory in a local winery along the route.

Day 3 Breakfast at the hotel. Today’s programme offers a guided full day tour across the Brenta Dolomites. Today you will discover the beauty of Lake Molveno, with its crystal clear water and taste the typical fruit of Val di Non: the apple. Here you will visit the “apple fruit world” and discover all ist secrets, then you will also taste the fruit and apple-made specialities.

Day 4 After breakfast, full day guided visit of Trento and the Lakes Valley. A beautiful narrow valley connects Trento to the Lake Garda, called the Valle dei Laghi (the lakes valley) because of the many small lakes in the area. This is where a delicious wine called “Vino Santo Trentino” is produced, a sweet wine which is perfect if combined with cakes and tarts. After a short stop at the lake Toblino, we can taste the famous Vin Santo and local products in a winery near the lake.

Day 5 Full day guided visit of Merano and the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff. After breakfast, transfer to Merano where our guide waits for us for a city tour. Not far from Merano we visit the Trauttmansdorff Castle with its fabulous gardens, that worth a visit! The whole World in a single garden: in eleven Pavilions, different artists make natural landscapes alive again, “green spaces” to be lived in peace, different garden styles from all over Europe show the historic relationship between men and nature.

Day 6 After breakfast, journey back home.
