In just a few years, Puglia has gone from being a destination that hardly anyone knew to one of the most popular regions in southern Italy. This quantum leap is due to the grand qualities of the various tourist facilities on offer: excellent hotels, fine food and wine, beautiful locations with their intact historical centers, natural beauties scattered throughout the region. And last but not least, the extraordinary welcome offered by the people of Puglia.

Buffet lunch in a trullo with local specialties. In the afternoon, visit to the Castellana caves, an impressive system of underground caverns spanning 3 kilometers. On the way back, stop in the beautiful town of Polignano a Mare to savor an exquisite, unmissable mulberry-flavoured ice-cream. Dinner in the hotel and overnight accommodation

This is followed by a visit to Martina Franca and its characteristic historical center with its white alleyways, noble buildings and majestic Baroque churches. Dinner in a typical butcher’s shop in Cisternino: the butcher’s shop restaurants of this city are a well-known tradition throughout the south of Italy for the goodness of their meat! Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight accommodation.

Day 4 After breakfast, departure on a guided tour of the city of Bari. Overlooking the Adriatic Sea, it is an open door to the nearby East with the old city protected by the Svevo Castle.
