From Ajaccio in Corsica’s southern part you drive through an area already inhabited 7000 years ago, which is documented by Menhirs and Dolmens, and then you reach Olmeto and the attractive town Sartene, the most characteristic city in Corsica. High on the imposing chalk cliffs, you find the picturesque Bonifacio, one of the most visited cities in Corsica.

In the year 833 it was built by the Tuscany Count Bonifacio; the upper part of the city has maintained its medieval atmosphere, which reminds its tumultuous past.

The visit of “Ville Haute”, from which you can see the Sardinia island which lies 12 km away, and a boat trip to the sea caves is an unforgettable experience
